Christmas greetings + Rob Pattinson rockin' the new 'do

I'd like to start off by wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!I hope you guys enjoy whatever festivities you might be having today with your families. For those who are basically celebrating Jesus' cumpleanos at home like me, just make the most out of your day and keep the cheery spirit alive!Ho ho hooooowho am I kidding?Haha. I've never been a "Ohemgee it's Christmas share the loveeee..." type of person, because this day meant for celebrating has never really been a momentous occasion for me and my family. Still, I seriously hope you all enjoy and tone down the bitch vibe for at least today. I hope that message counts for something haha!...

...On an unrelated-to-Christmas note, Rob Pattinson (of Cedric Diggory and Twilight fame), has decided to let go of his former supposedly-Edward-Cullen-but-more-like-Carrot-Top-on-a-bad-hair-day hairstyle by cropping his mane into a sleek crew cut.

Here's the visual:

In my opinion he looks at least 50% better. He looks dashing, like he just came straight out of a GQ cover shoot or a period film. I really don't understand why the prepubescent Twilighters are shunning this improvement. If they imagined his old hair to be anything close to Edward's, good goddd....

This haircut has really changed the way I see RPatz. Thanks to the new look, I now find him attractive in certain photos and on certain occasions (like when he's drunk, stumbling towards his car with a cigarette in one hand and signing an autograph for an 11 year old wailing fan with the other. I just think his new hair makes him so much hotter when placed in such a situation :P ). Also, the whole Rob Pattinson haircut "issue" reiterates two things: a.) Never underestimate the power of a hair makeover; your hairstyle can either make you look golden...or like rust falling of a water pipe (-_-) , and b.) Twilighters are such geeks that they do not engage in social activities other than anything involving the Saga and the film franchis...which is why Rob Pattinson is now being condemned for not wanting to have crappy hair anymore. Man. Remind me why I'm so obsessed with the series? Tsk tsk.

That's it for now. I just felt like blabbing as I continue to be antagonized by my lack of sleep. Maybe now's the time to try and catch some zzz's.

Again, have a happy Christmas day, buddies. :)

***UPDATE

Okay so my mom woke me up during the second hour of my toss-and-turn affair, and I was about to whine "ten minutes nalang, pleaseeeee PLEASEEEE" when a familiar face popped into my doorway. It was my yaya Tasyon, the yaya who had patiently and painstakingly taken care of me up to the time I was 12 or 13. When she found me there, definitely much bigger than she'd probably expected and of course a completely full grown person now, she hugged and me began to cry, and even if I had just woken up it wasn't difficult for my tears to flow out in sync with hers.
The kind of connection this woman and I have is something that cannot be matched. I feel like she genuinely knows me and is even somewhat proud to see that I turned out pretty alright. This is the woman who served as my mother's second set of eyes, ears, hands, feet...and maybe even an extension of her heart, because she really did love me like I was her own. She changed my diapers, rushed me to hospital after I bit a thermometer (long story), walked behind me for four hours the first time I decided to "run away" and wrote to me every Christmas and birthday since she left our family.

My yaya Tasyon is testament to the fact that behind every strange, hormonal and halfway decent girl is a great yaya. Merry Christmas to your yayas, as well!Make sure you make them feel the love and appreciation they deserve. :)
